Miss November, Grace Kim, earned a degree in English from UCLA and worked as a paralegal and a teacher before parlaying her addiction to Guitar Hero into a job with Activision, publisher of the video game series. In a bid to win an invitation to a Mansion party, Grace sent her photo to Playboy. “The next day the magazine asked me if I wanted to try out to be a Playmate,” she says. “I’m still reeling- it’s such an honor and a compliment.”

Newport beach, California is the new home of Miss February 2006, Cassandra Lynn. Taylor made for a swimsuit, Cassandra has recently placed high in several Hawaiian Tropic pageants and she’s an undisputed winner when the bikini comes off. “I love to run around the house naked,” she says, laughing. “It’s natural.” She was on the diving team in her high school, and she loves to scuba dive. “My favorite spot is Kona, Hawaii, where the lava tubes are so pretty,” she says. “I’m not afraid of sharks or anything like that, but I don’t like to touch the bottom.”

Playboy’s Miss February 2005 first appeared in 2003 as part of their 50th Anniversary Playmate Search. Amber Campisi decided to try out when Playboy scouts visited her hometown. “I was done with college,” she says, “and I wanted to try something fun and new, so I thought, Why not? Modeling comes easily to me- I could do it all day.” A self-described social creature, Amber says she could also talk all day and even all night: “Sometimes I’ll start chatting with customers and lose track of the time, and I’ll look up and it’s two in the morning. I love it when that happens.”

Destiny Davis studies economics and business law at a college less than a mile from the blinding glow of the Las Vegas Strip, but this determined 19-year-old isn’t easily distracted. “I worked hard to graduate from high school when I was 16,” she says. “I wanted to get a head start and do something more productive.” With Sin City’s demand for models constantly high, Destiny soon found herself posing at conventions and other events–and even got certified as a lifeguard to be part of a Baywatch-themed resort production. “Vegas is cool, but it’s not cultural,” she says. “It’s a transient town. No one develops roots, and it’s difficult to sustain friendships when you’re always on the go. Growing up here, I never appreciated it, but I love it now. Locals know there’s an entire city to explore beyond the Strip.”

When he’s not in front of a camera, Miss July 2005, Qiana Chase, wants fuss kept to a minimum. She plans to log a lot of quality beach time this season. “I try to stay carefree in the summertime,” she says. “When it’s hot, I’m loving it.” The season abounds with highlights. “Every year a friend from high school throws a huge Fourth of July weekend party that is so much fun. It’s like a reunion. I’m social with everybody. I like a variety of people.” When asked if this means her dates come in all shapes and sizes, though, she raises her eyebrow and admits that her dates tend to come in the varieties tall and extra tall. “I need to know that if I put on my highest heels, which will make me about six-five, he will be right there with me.”

No, you’re not seeing double. December’s Playboy Playmate is actually two girls- twins, in fact! Jennifer and Natalie Campbell, better known as The Campbell Twins hail from a small town in Colorado and are now naked in Playboy magazine. This should help us all have a very merry Christmas indeed!

Tiffany Selby reclines by a palm tree, wearing nothing but a hat and a strand of beads, a cool Corona chilling in her hand. Miss July 2006 was Sara Jean Underwood. She also became the 2007 Playmate of the Year! Most refreshing about Miss Underwood is her utter lack of artifice. When you look into the warm hazel eyes of this sweet-natured girl next door, you find no pretense, cynicism or delusions. “My happiness comes from being at home, whether it’s with my mom and dad or, I hope, with a romantic interest later in life,” she says.

Miss May ‘06, Alison Waite, explains that she likes to work hard and play hard and that this balance is the key to life. “I can’t do anything halfway- it’s all or nothing,” she says. “My way of relaxing is to go to the beach with my dog” As Alison happily plays in the sand with her pug puppy, we can’t help but think that this insightful, down-to-earth young woman will be content at any age. Still, when we ask her when she would stop the clock if she could take a magic pill that would keep her the same age forever, she doesn’t miss a beat. “Right now,” she says. “I’m just thrilled about this ride I’m on.

After posing for  Playboy’s “Girls of the Pac 10″ pictorial Julliete Frette became the Coed of the Month and was so popular with fans that Hef naturally made her a Playmate. She’s currently working on her women’s studies honors thesis at UCLA and plans to write a book about her Playboy experience after graduating.

Miss October, Kelly Carrington became a Playmate because of The Girls Next Door. “That show changed my whole perception of Playboy,” she says. “I was conservative when it came to my body and how it related to who I was as a person. I felt the series portrayed Playboy in a really girlie, fun, all-American way. I was watching the show with a male friend who said I was just as hot as the Playmates on it. He sent in some pictures of me, and Playboy called me for a test shoot. When I got to the studio, I was so excited to meet the photographer and see those life-size pictures of all the Centerfolds. I was nervous, but everyone made me feel really comfortable. The rest- meeting Hef and the girls and staying at the Mansion, has been just dreamy.”

“I’ve always been a rebel,” says Grace Kim. “I play a mean game of Guitar Hero, and I’m willing to challenge anybody. I must warn you I’m a very sore loser- at any game.” Creative expression is vital to Miss November. “I feel I can express myself better through writing. It’s a pure, passionate love of mine”- and music and art are in her genes. Her mom is a calligrapher, her dad a violinist and her brother a pianist and guitarist. An L.A. girl born and raised, Grace has made three visits to South Korea, from which her family emigrated in 1979. “I have relatives in Seoul, and I went to Korean school to learn to read and write the language.”

You need more Lindsay Wagner. Playboy’s Miss November ‘07 is a beautiful, all-natural young girl from Nebraska. What more could you want? Lindsay was just modeling swimsuits locally when a friend of hers submitted her pictures to Playboy. The next thing she knew, she was on a flight to L.A. for a test shoot.
